in Naha City, Okinawa as the 3rd son of Toguchi Seikichi (or Toguchi
Masahide) |

Initiated at Higa Dojo, which had been the only branch of Miyagi
Chojun, the orginator of Goju Ryu. Taught by Miyagi Chojun Sensei and
Higa Seiko Sensei. |

1942 |
Assigned to Palembang Refinery in Southern Sumatra as a civilian
personnel. Coached military personnel and local citizens. He was
demobilized and sent to Itoman City, Okinawa, after the end of the
Pacific War in 1946. |

He
was married through the good offices of Higa Seiko Sensei |

1948 |
Qualified as a grand master of Karate Department at Shuren Kai, Itoman
District |

1952 |
Forming of Goju Ryu Promotion Association (Miyagi Chojun Sensei as the
president), taking up the position on the executive board. |

1953 |
Relabel of Goju Ryu Promotion Association to Karate Do Goju Kai, upon
demise of Miyagi Chojun Sensei, taking up the position of the vice
president (Yagi Meitoku Sensei as the president). Establishment of
Shorei Kan as Karate Do Goju Institute. |

Forming of Okinawa Karate Do Renmei (Federation), taking up the
position of an executive board member. |

June 1963 |
Organizing the First Shorei Kai Karate Do Meet at Nanbu Kokaido Public
Hall in Nakano Ward, Tokyo. Running on the 21st Meet. |

April 25, 1970 |
Performance at the congratulatory party of Okinawa's participation in
